This information, as it relates to Stand
ard Gasoline, will be made public at the
earliest possible date, thus providing
you with an unbiased decision from a
competent and recognized official body.
kA Statement of 'Policy
As a step in the stabilization of Ameri
can business, this Company reaffirms its
policy of refusing to sell to price-cutters.
Furthermore, realizing that depressed
conditions are only prolonged by un
economic competition, this Company will
not attempt to increase its present per
centage of business at the expense of its
competitors. The Company will not add
to its present sales outlets either by con
struction of new stations (existing com
mitments excepted), or by attempting to
acquire stations now supplied by its com
petitors. These sales policies will be con
tinued so long as competitive conditions
make them possible.
What are the facts about gasoline? We intend
to prove them to your satisfaction.
First, we say that besides Standard there are
several good non -premium gasolines on sale
in this vicinity.
We say also there are many gasolines not so good.
Even among the good gasolines there is a
choice... not all are unqualifiedly good.
One may be unsurpassed in starting, another
in acceleration, another in anti-knock, an
other in mileage.

good qualities
