la planning a complete- program of ac
tivities, limited only by the need ol
extreme economy, which Is stressed
by Luclen Clement, business mana
ger, who was re-elected to that posi
tion. Among the projects which will be
undertaken, by the new admlnlstra
. tion under the leadership of the new
president Is the construction of a
permanent "M" on' the slopes of
Roxy Ann. This project was sched
uled to be completed this year, but
due to lack of means and numerous
activities, it was forced to be post
poned. The "M" will be built of
rock and whitewashed to make it
visible from the city.
The Southern Oregon-Northern
California inter-school conferences,
which David Lowry, this year's pres
ident, planned to carry out, is an
other project which will probably see
completion under the new adminis
tration. President Lowry has made
extensive preparations for Vie con
ference and its completion is said to
be only a matter of time and finance.
The betterment of student govern
ment through closer association of
the high, schools of southern Oregon
and northern California Is the object
of this undertaking.
An investigation of the student
court will also probably be a part of
the new president's program, as stu
dent opinion calls for such an in
vestigation. Through these and other phases
of tho new executive's plans, the
students of high school are afforded
every chance for a successful and in
teresting year in 1933-34. ' - '
