years. Mr. Welborn went to Copper
from Eugene for a higher altitude on
account of his Illness. He was born
July 20, 1849 in Indiana. He came to
Copper two months ago and bought
the general merchandise store there.
He was a member of Irving Lodge
I. O. O. P. Number 79. of Irving. Ore
gon. He leaves his wife, Elizabeth E.,
and one son and one daughter, Jms
of Copper, Oregon and Carrie A. Wig
gins, Eugene. Oregon, also one broth
er In Missouri.
Remains will be forwarded by the
