WASHINGTON, April 30.--AP) A
resolution authorizing the president
to investigate and adjust construc
tion, operation and maintenance
charges on western irrigation pro
jects was Introduced today by Sena
tor McNary (R,, Ore,), and referred
to the irrigation committee.
It would permit credits on such
charges where lands have been dam
aged or made unproductive and cre
dits would be applied to rentals of
any old lands retained and new lands
patented for Irrigation settlers.
