Announcement was made Satur
day of the appointment of Ed Val
uer as special representative In this
territory of the Pacific Coast Auto
mobile association, and hi office
are to be located at 116. North Riv
erside avenue.
Mr. ValUer is well known In Med
ford Where he has been associated
with automobile concerns, and was
formerly district manager for the
Texas OH company.-
Dow V. Walker, managing direc
tor of the association, and Tom O.
Ordeman, also on of the board of
directors, were Med ford visitor Sat
urday. They stated that Joe K.
Carson, Jr., mayor of Portland, the
other board memoer, plans to make
a visit to Medford soon In Interest
of the association, and to confer with
Mr. Valuer.

started In the company's factories In
Dayton, O., coincident with the sign
log of the beer bill by President
Pranklln Delano Roosevelt," he said.

mercial refrigeration equipment," Mr.
Leonard said. "The equipment has
been in development for some month
and Is unique In that it 1 of the
double refrigerant type and permits
cleaning with steam or other hot
solutions within a ten minute per
iod and cool beer Is available or
tap within three minutes after the
operation la completed.
"We are receiving request for In
formation from scores of hotel and
restaurant men and we are rushing
equipment here by express to meet
order."

SALEM, April 7. (AP) Mrs. Rose
Farlow went to Jill Tor JS days, when
she ni unable to. pay a WO fine
Imposed on her here today alter she
pleaded guilty to a charge of assault
and battery on the person of Miss
Grace Taylor, school nurse.
The complaint was signed by Po
lice Officer Don Nicholson, who was
called to the Garfield school when
the woman started trouble, declaring
her young son had been abused. This
was denied both by the nurse and by
Miss Margaret Cosper, principal of
the school.
