3 egg whites, beaton
Blend sugar and flour; add yolks.
salt, prune pulp and milk; cool tn
double boiler until mixture as thick
and creamy; stir frequently: fold in
egg whiten; cool; add lemon Juice;
chill.
Orange Peel Bread.
3 14 cups flour
4 teaspoons tasking; powder
teaspoon salt
1 cup chopped candled orange peel
3 cups milk

2-3 oup sugar
Soak milk and pel I minutes.
Add rest of lngrealnts; pour Into
greased loaf pan; let rise 15 minutes.
Bake 60 minute In 0ow oven.
Baron and Cheese Squares.
13 square crackers
2 tablespoons butter
0 pieces bacon
teaspoon paprika
Snread butter on crackers: top each
cracker with piece of bacon; sprinkle
with paprika. Arange on shallow pan
and bake 10 minutes In moderate
oven Serve warm.

Mr. Roosevelt laughingly said that
he had been told they would not
continue long. He ventured they
could and would be carried out.
Some of the veteran reporter! dis
agreed, but after several successful
gatherings, they have changed their
minis.
Th procedure at the conferences on
Tuesdays at 10 a. m and Fridays at
4 p. m. are simple. The newspaper
men waiting In the lobby of the
executive, office axe summoned Into
the President's room. They fill al
most every available bit of space.
Mr. Roosevelt greets them and leans

The questions come thick and fast
and some go to the root of delicate
questions and situations. Not once

Sift flour once, measure, add balling powder and salt, sad sirs
