at the echooihouse Tuesday for Its
birthday pjtrty, honoring the birth
days of Mrs, John Byrne. Mrs. Nellie

ent. A chicken dinner was served as
noon to the 13 members, with sresen
tatlon of srtf i to the honor guest and
a large white cake trimmed Is pink
with "Hapy Birthday" on top. The
afternoon was spent In finishing a
wool quilt that the members have
been piecing crazy style for a seedy
family. A business meeting was also
held and plans made to enter a one
act play at the recreation dramatic
club in Medford soon. The play la
"Not a Man In the House," for whica
part were tried out. Mrs J. R. Hoff
man and Mr. Harry Brown were
named as leaders at the demonstra
tion meeting to be In Medford soon.
