Thieves Steal Shirts Mrs. David
Yale of 809 West Fourth street, re
ported to the city police last night
that five of her husband's white
shirts had been stolen from the
clothesline back of their house. Chief
of Police Clatous McCredle said this
morning that many such complaints
have been received, and women are
warned not to leave clothes hanging
on the line after dark.

Naturalisation Court Postpone

but there Is a report about town
this week to the effect that the
Southern Pacific is going to put on
another cent-a-mlle special this
month. Many are expecting the re
duction to occur around February 12
and are hoping to attend the ground
breaking ceremony for the Golden
Gate bridge in San Francisco a few
days later.
