Cook Leaves Hospital James Cook,
who lost his hand by a gunshot
wound the first of the week, was re
moved from the Sacred Heart hos
pital to his home today, his condi
tion being much Improved. Cook's
y hand was torn practically off by the
accidental dlschsrge of his own shot
gun, at his farm home near the city,
a few days ago. He was rushed to
the hospital, where amputation was
found necessary.

Delaell had been removed from the
hospital to his home a few days ago.

Iona May Edmondson celebrated her
sixth birthday anniversary January
31 after school. Her little friends
brought her presents and enjoyed
the birthday cake. Ice cream, confec
tions and festivities. Those present
were: Delbert Geppert, Beverly Jack
son, Dorothy Hllkey, Lowell Patton,
Virginia Hllkey, Leon a Moore, Darwin
Moore, Clara Edmondson and Mrs.
Loren Moore.
Recent dinner guests of Mr. and
Mrs. John Marlon were Mr. and Mrs.
Will Lockard and Mr. and Mrs. Bo
denhamer and grandson of Medford.
Earl Wymore and Mr. Hahn of
Medford visited Mr. and Mrs. John
Marlon recently.
Wendell Klncade, who has been
with Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carson for
a year, returned to his home in Los
Angeles last week. ;

day for medical treatment,

31. The girls will give a public en
tertainment soon.

at the Butte Falls gym last Friday.
