MEDFORD MA? L TRIBUNE, MEDFORD, OREGON, FRIDAY, JANUARY 27, 1933.
PAGE THREE
WILL BE SELECTED
By COUNTY COURT
The county court will meet again
tomorrow to dlsctua the naming of
an auditor lor the county books, ap
pointment of road supervisors in
each of the twelve road districts of
the county, and consideration of the
petit jury list for the coming year.
A tentative list has been picked,
which Is scheduled for considerable
revision before formal approval.
Increase In the number of road
supervisors to twelve. Instead of the
three now engaged, was made at the
request of a number of road districts,
who feel that each district should
have Its supervisor. The last county
court reduced the number to three as
an economy measure.
It la planned that the supervisors
will have charge of all emergency re
lief work, and general road work In
their districts, and that they receive
pay only for the time they actually
work. They will be required to make
a report on the number of unemploy
ed In their district, and relief needs.
No decision has been reached on
the appointment of an auditor, the
county court endeavoring to find an
accounting firm qualified, and rea
sonable In price.
