Charles Wisdom received ,hls hurt
when cutting wood In the Browns
boro district According to his fam
ily ho was working for the forest
service In the Applegato dlatrlot.
While assisting another man to carry
a h?avy box of provisions up a steep
trail the man In front stumblod and
foil, throwing the weight of the box
on Mr. Wisdom, He fell backwards
with the heavy box on top of him,
injuring hla back badly. Hla com
panion went for help but Mr. Wis
dom lay out In the poudlng rain for
many hours. He waa taken to the
Sacred Heart hospital. Mrs Wisdom
and sons, Aubrey and Joe, go to
Medford often to visit him.
