Is a clearing house for all mining in

bers of commerce.
For a considerable period of time
financing has been ready to under
take the examination of new, poten
tial gold mines, with a view of plac
ing them on a production basis,
ahould the results of the examina
tion so Justify. In fact, the demand
for new gold properties of merit may
be said to exceed the supply.
Prospector Complains
On the other hand, the prospector
may raise the cry that the capitalist
fails to heed his pleas for succor
with the result that neither he nor
the financier profits from Alt dis
covery. .The result of the above attitudes
on the part of the prospective oper
ator, on on hand, and the dlsgrun
tied prospector on th other, many
arguments can be advanced in favor
of each, but It seems to the writer
that the money man may be correct
in his attitude of caution In the ma
jority of cases.
