The recent cold weather was the e
vcrest experienced In this district for
many years and according to roports
did much damage.
All winter garden truck was prac
tically ruined. Much home canned
goods damaged, water pipes and
pumping syHlema put out of order
and fall sown wheat badly nipped.
The thaw has not as yet revealed
all the damages aa many water sys
tems are still frozen up.
Newberg. Douglas Dickey took
over DectK dairy, located at west edge
of town.
