EAGLES CHARITY BALL
Chief among the features to enter
tain the dancers at the Eagles' charity
dance at the Dreamland dance hall
Wednssday night, December 14, will
be a dance program by the dancing
class of Miss Ruth Luy, dancing in
structor. "An All-American Girl"
will be the "Idea" of the dance, and
Miss Luy has been working for seve
ral days to perfect the dance for the
occasion.
Ticket sales for the dance are going
strong, according to Jack Hueston, in
charge of the relief program, and a
huge crowd Is expected. The "Ore
gon Pioneers" will furnish the music.
Each ticket purchased adds just that
much to the warehouse to be opened
by the Eagles for the poor during
winter, as the Eagles lodge profits
not a cent by the dance.
Negotiations are under way for the
renting of a warehouse, and the build
ing formerly occupied by the Model
Bakery, on West Main street may be
used, Hueston said.
The dance will start at 9:00 o'clock
tomorrow night, Hueston said, and
the dancing feature by Miss Luy's
