sermon at Yaung People's meeting
here Sunday evening.

Mrs. Ed Wilson and eons, accom
panied by relatives from Ashland,
drove to Crater Lake last Sunday.
They reported little snow but ft very
cold wind blowing and clouds ob
scured the view of the lake.
Mrs. Nellie Angle was elected presi
dent of the LadfeV Chat and Sew
club at their last meetng. Instead of
Mrs. Violet Schafer, ae was stated
last week.
The Day and Straus hay grinding
machine Is at work at the J. L. Nea
Ion place, where a large quantity of
haly wlil be ground for feeding beef
steers.
Wet weather has put a complete
stop to farming operations here.
E. W. Carlton and R. E. Nealon
were present at the county budget
committee meeting Tuesday.
Geo. Wright Installed a new water
pumping system last week.
Phil Lounsberry of Medford was
business visitor here Monday.
There Is said to be less grain sown

than at any time since records have
been kept.
