Rev. W. R. Balrd, paator of the Flrat
Chrlatlan church giving the welconv
lng address. Norman Fraley, district
president, will preside over the con
vention. Five of the state union
officers wlU be here to aid In making
the convention a success.
Walter Myers of the Eugene Bible
college will be main speaker of the
convention. He is well known In
Oregon, having spoken In almost all
of the districts of the state. Ed
Hoover, state president, and Ralph
Tarbell, Viola Ogden and Helen Mc
Clay will also be present.
Those who have not. aa yet, regis.
tered for the convention, are urged
to do so as soon as possible by get
ting in touch with Dorothy Shaffer.
Ends On Sunday,
The convention will carry through
Sunday. All who wish to attend the
lectures are welcome. Saturday night
ft free banquet for those who have
reglatered will begin at 5:45.
