still the third cause of death among

grave concern to the public.
The work of the local health unit,
largely financed by proceeds from the
annual seal sale, has done much im
portant service In the matter of dls

vance of tuberculosis by such method
as child clinics, tubercular testing,
and prompt measures to avoid de
velopment of disease.

Kenneth Sutherland and George
Haas, local youths, were charged this
morning, In a complaint fllod In Juve
nile court, with larceny and malicious
destruction of property. The com
plaint was signed by John W, John
son. The youths are alleged to have rip
ped the back out of Johnson's auto,
while parked and locked on South
Central avenue, and to have taken
cigarettes therefrom.
They are scheduled for a hearing
before County Judge C. B. Lamkln tomorrow.
