This evening the demonstration
agent will speak en kitchen conveni
ences at the Talent Grange's home
economics program, which Is being
advertised as "Come into the Kltch
en." Music and skits will be Includ
ed In the evening's entertainment,

which conceals a great portion of his
otherwise youthful appearing face, the
man who worked with Amundsen.
Knute Basmussen, and who helped
to salvage the dirigible Norge, called
his dogs from their rather minute
kennels to show off their bushy coats,
thickened by the demands of heavy
winters they have known. With them
he will appear In a program at the
Holly theater soon, after returning
from Ashland, toward which he was
headed today.
"We are going through to Los An
geles." he explained. "I have two
brothers there. We're going back to
Alaska as soon as the ice breaks up
next spring In the McKenzle river.
Just putting on a few shows as we
go. I work with the dogs In the
north. Some are Alaska huskies, some
Siberian huskies and the others Mala
mutes. Their color doesn't mean any
thing," he explained as the dogs stuck
