Frank Hull, scoutmaster of Troop
No. 3 will have charge of the open
ing ceremony. Following this will
be stunts demonstrating some part of
scouting, under the direction of Max
Pierce, scoutmaster of Troop No. 0.
The competitive events will be In
charge of O. A. Eden of Troop No.
10, assisted by other scoutmasters
with the individual contests.
At this meeting the satisfactory
and honor camper awards esroed at
summer camp will be presented to
the scouts of the valley.
Boms unique lighting effects will
be a feature of this year's perform
ance, many of the acts being con
ducted with lights carried by tihe
performers.
There will be no admission charge
mads. Everyone Interested In scout
ing activities should plan to attend.

The past year was most successful

Plans were mad at Friday's meet
ing for the organisation of a scout
mothers' auxiliary, for the purpose jf
assisting the local troops. One of the
first objective will be the collection,
reconditioning and redistribution f
outgrown scout uniform. At present
them 1 no way of supplying scout
who are unabl to purchase new uni
form with uniform that have been
outgrown by former scout. It '
felt that such an organization would
be especially helpful at thl time.

cussed. Scouting' program for the
winter is complete end interesting,

Stevens, director of the group, inten
sive work In smoothing out the choral
numbers to be rendered at the con
cert will begin at this week's meet
ing. Miss Maud McOaulay, of Portland,
who has been furnishing most of the
muslo for the Oleemen, was in Med
ford yesterday, and after a conference
with Mr. Stevens, promised some new
and modern arrangements of popular
numbers to round out the Tepertotr
of the organisation. The Oleemen'
concert program, according to present
plana, wilt represent a complete even
ing's program of elftMlcal, aeml-f-las-steal
and popular num bom.
All members of the organization are
urged to be present at tonight's meet
ing, which Is called for 6:00 p. m.
