negligent driving of the Van Hoeven
berg auto, and that r-s sustained a
badly scalded leg as a result.

Falls Bakery in Klamath Falls, where

today. Mickey Mouse celebrated his
fourth birthday on October 1 with
a nation-wide celebration. Five hun
dred local kiddles Joined the thous
ands of other kiddle throughout
the nation and assisted In the cele
bration' by attending Mickey's birth
day party at the Holly. Nation
wide broadcasts were enjoyed by
thousands more as Hollywood's best
entertainers honored the little char
acter that has made so many peo

NBO executives waived a broad
cast policy of several months stand
ing for the occasion. The company
set about recently to restrict "plug
ging" of any one melody over the
air, with the exception of theme
songs on commercial contracts. But
for October 1 the rule was suspend

one hundred and fifty people were

picnic supper.
