Z have had club members playing consistently In the 60's, who have utterly ruined their game by attempting to add 60 yards to their tee-shots. A 160-yard drive straight down the middle of Vie fairway la far bet ter than 360 yards Into the woods or Accuracy, rather than distance, should be the aim of every golfer, particularly that vast majority of players whose only opportunity for the game comes on week-end holi days. A perfect drive la probably the most satisfying shot In the game, but It must always be remembered that a straight drive Is far more to be desired than a long one, and Is Important, too, In that It does much towards putting you In the right frame of mind for your second shot.
