E Adam Emlg passed away at a local hospital Thursday at 3:00 p. m after an illness or 5'iort duration. Mr. Emlg was born In Germany, Novem ber 30, 1858, and at the age of 32, he left the old oountry, and came to the United States, landing at New York In 1880, during his eight years thera he met and married Margaret Zleger, They left New York, coming west, and finally settled In Wenatohee val ley of Washington, where Mr, Emlg took up a homestead, living there for 19 years, and then coming to Medford, where they .have mads their home for 3D years. He had been farm ing most of that time. He leaves a host of friends, who will be saddoned to learn of hta passing, and la survived by his wife, Margaret Emlg, and three daughters: Mrs. John Brender of Loavenworth, Wash.; Mrs. Joseph Wocknlck of Portland, Oregon; Mrs. T. O. Lednlcky of Medford, 13 grandchildren and five great grandchildren, two brothers, John and Nick Emlg of Leavenworth, Wash., end on nephew, Nick Kin chlff of Leavenworth, Wash.
