ASK MORE III
IN IT' APPEAL
An order seeking an extension of
time for preparation of transcripts
and appeal to the state supreme
court has been filed In the circuit
court by Jesse E. Enyart and Grace
Brawn, cross -complainant in their
suit against Mrs. Stella J. Merrick
and the Natatorlum Amusement com
pany, for an accounting. Enyart 1
represented by Attorney A. E.
Reames: Mrs. Grace Brown by Attor
ney Ralph E. Moody, and the Nata
torlum by Attorneys Porter J. Neff
and George M. Roberts.
The Natatorlum is linked with the
boom day history of the city. Enyart
and other leading citizens made in
vestments In the project and after
wards abandoned their Investments,
it was claimed In the circuit court
hearing. The Merrick family asserted
they rehabilitated the property, when
tourist traffic flourished on the Pa
cific highway, through their own ef
forts, and established it as "Merrick's
Motor Inn."
William Powell In
Holly Mystery Hit
Kay Francis and William Powell
make a splendid movie team and
"The Jewel Robbery," which Is show
ing at the Holly theatre now, is Just
the kind of a picture that the two
fit Into nicely. The plot is simple
and very light. The dialogue and
situations provide plenty of oppor
tunty for for the two to display
their talents, however, and we find
a fast, breezy, saucy, nonsensical
comedy as the result. Willlnm Pow
ell Is a debonalre Jewel bandit while
Kay is the wife of a Vlenese banker
and has a passion for Jewels. After
Powell .has robbed her of her Jewels
she lets her romantic self overrule
her better Judgment and therein lies
the story.
Sunday the Holly will present Leo
Carrlllo In .his latest hit, "Race
Track." This picture Is taken from
the famous stage play and presents
Carrlllo at his dramatic best.
Here Sunday
"HORSE FEATHERS"
"Horse Feathers," latest picture
starring the Four Marx Brothers, mad
but merry comedians of the stage and
screen, comes to the Foi Craterlan
Sunday for a three day run.
Groucho Is cast as a college presi
dent whose only object Is to get
Zeppo, his son, who has been a fresh
man for 12 years, out of school,
Chlco, as the vllioge bootlegger, and
Harpo, the local dog catcher, aid him
In his efforts.
All of the crazy type of humor at
which the Marx Brothers are special
ists Is given full play In "Horse
Feathers." Romantic but good
humored music helps brlnj the com
edy Incidents together.
"The Wranglers," radio and vaude
ville stars appear on the Fox Crater
lan Btnge today and Saturday In con
nection with the showing of Eddie
Qulllan In "The Big Show."

flour which, according to Miss Meade,
this well-known "home-perfected"
brings uniformity of results to home
baking.
In her statement to southern Ore
gon housewives, Mnrtha Meade soya:
"If you wont an easier, simpler and
far more successful way In home
baking, Just try this 'home perfected
flour. The scientific blending of the
finest wheats grown In western
America overcome the principal
causes of home baking feal lures
variations in t.'ie baking action of the
flour itself. Uniformity of blend es
pecially features Drifted Snow and
not only does it assure successful
baking under all conditions but also
posseses the valuable and rare prop
erty of acting equally well with
either yeast or baking powder."
Probably one of the greatest points
that recommends Drifted Snow "home
perfected" flour to the housewife Is
that It will moke oil types of baked
goods equally well. The reason is that
it conalns Just enough hard wheat
for flavor, delicate texture, and gol
den crusts and Just endugft soft
wheat for airy lightness and snowy
whiteness. The result Is that plea,
cakes, muffins, or pastries, turn out
perfect.
Medford grocers are showing ten
pound sacks of Drifted Snow flour
to Induce women to more quickly try
this new flour development. "All
we ask is for housewives to try Drift
ed Snow; see for themselves how easy
It is to successfully bake with this
"home -perfected," scientifically blend
ed flour. The results will prove
equally pi leasing to the woman who
uses this new product, Mr. End.rU
said today,
Housewives are urged by Mr. En
