Clever Holly Hit
IUNCLYOe"ZAlU PITTS
V pTEAOYCOM PA M V"
'Steady Company." showing at the
Holly theatre today, Monday and
Tuesday Is a story that sparkles with
originality. ,Aa a matter of fact, the
entire picture sparkles with original
ity. The producers made this picture
without a star. Here la one picture
that has no star and the results are
really surprising for we find a de
lightful picture all the way through.
As for the story, the trouble starts
when beautiful June Clyde loses the
heel of one of her slippers, end suc
cumbs to the offer of a good looking
truck driver to take her to her desti
nation. Thrills and Joyous love fol
low as the smitten truck-driver deter
mines to win fame and the girl.
The young man's choice of profes
sion proves to be wrong as far as the
girl Is concerned, and as fortune ar
rives for the erstwhtle auto pilot
love "flies out the window." A kindly
friend of both, an Italian shoemaker
played superbly by Henry Armetta
comes to the rescue and furnishes
some of the most delicious movie
comedy In doing so. As a matter of
fct, Henry Armetta almost domin
ates the entire picture as the Italian
shoemaker. One can say without
being accused of exaggeration, that
hi work Is superb.
Other members of the cast Include
June Clyde, Norman Poster, J. Parrell
Mac Dons Id and Zasu Pitts.
