A no-hostess bridge luncheon, with
thre table In play, wa enjoyed by
a group of Medford ladlea Thursday
at Clarmae lodge, aummer home of
Mr. nd Mra. Clarence T. No on
Rogue river.
The room were attractively decor
ated In roses, sweet peas, and snap
dragon. Prises at bridge wer awarded Mrs.
L. Bundy, traveling price: Mrs. Anna
Gilbert, for high; and Mra. G. H.
Maasdam, low.
During the afternoon, th group
visited the lovely rock garden and
pools In front of the cabin, where
little walks of stone, bordered with
wooly thyme snd rose moss leads to
gay beds of pinks, and many-colored
sweetpea climbing the fenc. Th
swtetpea, the seed of which were
Imported from London, srouscd much
comment, due to the sis of tha blos
soms. Geums In vermilion and bright yel
low lastly nod to an exceptionally
large goldfish cavorting In a nearby
rock pond, and a atone, resembling
a little kitten, sits on the ledge.
Behind the circular garden seat
designed of rocks, towering butterfly
bushes grow, concealing the nook
from the little lawn of clover at the
top of the garden terrace. Along
another portion of the fence, atalks
of bronze-colored snapdragons are
growing.
The driveway down to the river
bank la bordered with rose and a
variety of tiny blossoms.
The ladles who were guests of Mrs.
Noe for the afternoon were Mrs. Min

M. M. Herman, Mrs. A. F. Stennett.
