Japan, were seen enjoying growth In
southern Oregon soil French roses,
whose petals furnish the fragrance
for the leading perfume of that coun
try, are also found In the McCaakey
gardens,

position at the Camp Fire Girls camp
on Vashon Island, Puget Sound. The
camp Is Just a short way from Sent

on a small steamer,
The camp la very large, con U ting
of 186 acres and one mile of beach
front. Over 1000 girls enjoy the
summer eeason there. The equipment
consist of one motor boat, a sail
boat, 90 row boats, and two barges.
There la also equipment for many
types of land ipotts.

a group of relatives and friends, the

make their home In Medford, where

Both are graduates of Willamette
university, where Mrs. McAllister is
