Lowe Wins Crowds
At Holly Picture
(ny Jihn Nledermeyer)
If the loud praise accorded "Attor
ney for the Defense" last night is
significant, then it seems that one
of the finest and most entertaining
pictures to come to Medford for some
time Is at the Holly. Edmond Lowe.
Evelyn Brent and Constance Cum-
mincs made a marked impression
upon the large, crowd at the Holly
last night. So perfectly done are
tll the parts that one can hardly
find a flaw In the entire production.
The story Is powerful and highly en
tertaining and at times reaches dra
matic and emotional heights that
grip everyone in the theatre.
Never has Edmond Lowe turned in
a performance as he does in "Attor
ney for the Defense." This Is due
not only to his remarkable ability,
but also to the splendid story In
which he has been cast and the won
derful support given by the other
members of the cast. The short sub
jects, too, proved highly entertaining,
and everyone acclaimed It as a won
derftil show. It will be at the Holly
the remainder of the week.
