, FLEMINGTON, N. J., May 36.
(AP) The Hunterdon county grand
Jury considered th case of John
Hughes Curtis, confessed hoaxer of
the Lindbergh owe, for two hours
and five minutes today and when It
adjourned there were unofficial re
ports an Indictment had been voted
One indication that a true bill
had been voted was seen in a state
ment of Prosecutor Anthony Hauck
that, If an Indictment was voted,
he expected to call about ten wit
nesses to support his case, Including
three police officials who testified
today and Colonel Lindbergh. The
prosecutor also indicated he might
seek to call Admiral Guy Burrage
and the Rev. Dean Dobson-Peacock
of Norfolk, Va.. associates of Curtis in
his negotiations.
While Curtis sat In his solitary
cell in the Jail adjoining the court
house the grand Jury heard three
witnesses police officials w.ho have
been active In the kidnaping in
vestigation tell of the confessed
hoaxer's story of his alleged negotia
tions with the kidnapers and the
effect they had on the search for the
kidnaper-murderers of the Lindbergh
baby.

- who Is to BE THE JUDGE of
these acts of mercy? Who Is to
make the decision whether this per
son or that person should be put out
of his misery?
An Important point Is Involved
there.
pOR example:-LJ
It might seem to many people
that it would be an act of mercy
to everybody concerned to put this
writer out of his misery, whereas to
this writer himself it would aeem
quite otherwise.
The law, you know, acts extensive
ly on precedent, and If we establish
the precedent that just anybody can
be the Judge as to who Is In misery
and should be put out of It we shall
be on dangerous ground.

'Young America, at the Fox Crat
erian tomorrow and Saturday is a
tremendously human story of the
problems in life of a modern mis
chievous, home-hungry boy, told
simply with great appeal by that ace
director, Frank Borsage. It is real
entertainment.
Spencer Tracy of "Sky Devils" and
"Disorderly Conduct" fame, is the
adult star. Lovely Doris Kenyon has
the principal feminine role, while
young Tommy Conlon enacts the role
of the boy and splendidly too.
The Joys of youth, a young boy's
ambitions, like and dislikes, his loy
alties, are an Important part of
"Young t America." This boy, known
as "the 'worst boy in town," Is really
not a bad boy at all, but a dandy
chap. However, he does create more
excitement, thrills and fast action
than one could possibly imagine.
Don't miss it.
