delssohn's march at the close of the
service.
Among the 25 guests In attendance
were several from out of town: Dr,
Nora Esgate of Los Angeles, mother
of the bridej Mrs. H. H. Fennell
of Eugene, mother of the groom;
Miss Virginia Grone of Eugene and
Mrs. Lewnadder of Portland.
The wedding was followed by
small reception for relatives and
friends. Japanese lanterns, swaying
from the trees on the banks of the
river, added color and beauty
the view from the veranda and
spring flowers were arranged about
the rooms.
Following a brief wedding trip,
Mra. Fennell will return to the Uni
versity of Oregon, where she will
graduate June 13. She Is affiliated
with Alpha XI Delta sorority on the
northern campus and la, well known
among members of the university
set here.
Mr. Fennell, a graduate of the
University of Oregon, and former
student of Oregon State College,
plays a prominent part In club' and
business activities In Medford, where
he Is now associated with the
Gardner Drug company.
Following graduation at the uni
versity the Fennell's will be at home
to their friends In this city.

Medford Branch of the Women's
Greater Oregon association will be
held Tuesday afternoon. May 24 at
2:30 at the Medford Hotel. There
will be election of officers for the

Hold Last Meeting
The Standard Bearers class of tha
First Methodist Episcopal church, a
branch of the Women's Foreign Mis
sionary society, will meet Friday eve
ning at 7:30 o'clock for the last ses
sion of the season. The last chapter
of the book, "Christ Comes to the
Village." will be completed and offi
cers for the new year elected.
