PAPER SAYS FEHL
(Continued trutu Page One)
which Inspires his writings and In
cidentally his actions In the April
3nd, 1831. Issue of his publication,
the same Issue In which he comment
ed on the Prescott murder, further
exhibit his "mental attitude" In the
following paragraph from his ac
count of the acquittal verdict In the
much publicized Bowles - Loukes
case:
"Bowles and Miss Louck did Just
what millions are doing today. THE
FAULT LIES NOT WITH THE MAN
BUT WITH THE WOMAN IN THE
HOME. Bowles was a good provider;
no doubt he would have appreciated
a HOME, He furnished his wife with
a mansion- she drove him from It
and he took refuge among friends.
His friends were his associates and
Miss Loucke shared with him her
home. Is this any crime? If so, who
among you have not sinned? "
(Blackface type added by us for em
phasis). Now this Is undoubtedly Interest
ing from a risque standpoint, but we
consider this mental attitude destruc
tive and Improper and scarcely the
type of thinking which would become
man representing Jackson county
and holding one of the most Im
portant offices of public trust.
Read this paragraph which we
quote here and then consider the fact
that the county Judge also serves
as Juvenile Judge and In this capac
ity must pass Judgment on the young
people of the county who transgress
the rules of society. Is there not gen
uine danger lurking in this type of
thinking which strikes at the basic
foundation of our civilization the
home.
We bring these facts relative to
Mr. Fehl's mental attitude to the
attention of our readers In order
that they may be fully acquainted
with the real danger which would
exist should Mr. Fehl win this nom
ination. Now Is the time to elimin
ate him from further political consideration.

For Your TIRE DOLLARS
The new year is here and with it comes the opportunity to purchase fully guaranteed Fisk Air-Flight Principle
Tires at prices that are the greatest values ever offered in Medford. These amazingly low prices are .made
possible because of our mode of purchase, and because of our desire, as independent dealers, to offer our com
munity patrons the best in service and values possible. ;
There Are No Strings Tied to These Values. Every Tire and Price Just as Advertised. . Every Tire and Tube Is
Strictly High Quality in Every Respect. NO SECONDS, BLEMISHED OR BRANDED STOCK!
We are sure that car owners in each community will appreciate the real values offered.
Our 1932 Plan
on Tire Prices .
The manufacturing cost of the
various brands of Quality tires
is very much the same.;
To gtfve you better Tire Values
and better prices, a saving had
to be made somewhere in the
manufacturer's cost of putting
tires on the Independent Mer
chant's Shelves.
To accomplish this we added
the buying power of a number
of Southern Oregon dealers to
that of our own and found that
in making a direct factory con
tact, buying in quantity ship
ments for our combined re
quirements, costing the factory
only ONE BILLING, SHIP
PING, ADVERTISING, SELL
ING, and COLLECTION
CHARGE for this entire terri
tory, we could make a material
saving in price.
You can share in this saving as
shown in the following prices
and equip your car with Fisk

same price asked for Mail

manufacturers' secondary line
