Craterian theater for a three-day
showing.
Thousands of movie fans will re
member the old silent version of this
drama, produced over a decade ago.

Melghsn and Betty Compson. It was

The new version, coming today, Is
a modern talkie, featuring celebrated

Woodrow Wilson Shaw, 17. who
confessed to the authorities that

morning sentenced to the state In
dustrial school at Salem, "there to
remain until 31 years of age." The
records show that Shaw was sent
enced to the reform school In 1930.

Klamath county. He violated this
parole. Crow and Nelson face two
year prison terms Imposed Friday In
circuit court. Shaw appeared in
Juvenile court.
Willard Benford, 17, and Frederick
White, 17, admitted members of a
boy burglar gang, were each sent
enced to the reform school and sent
ence suspended for SO days. In the
meantime they must spend ten days
In the county Jail and be kept at
hard labor around the courthouse.
Glen Hanscom and Clifford Clarke,
pals of the younger boys, are under
observation of the circuit court for
30 days before final disposition of
their cases.
Glen Man airy, 17, and George
Wlnkleman, 15, both of Talent,
charged with theft of gasoline from
farm machinery, were each sentenc
ed to the reform and paroled to
their fathers. Maharry Is prohibited
from driving an auto for sixty days.
Any violation of the parole will re
sult In Immediate Invoking of the
reform school sentence.
Confronted with a rising tide of
contempt among young boys for the
court and paroles, county authorit
ies have announced that In the fu
ture firmer measures will be taken
with Juvenile offenders, particularly
those who have been In trouble be
fore. Crow and Nelson will be taken
