Besides thia uproarious comedy
satire of the modern dude ranch
West, and the gay buffoonery of Bert
and Bobby, the music tn this picture
. . . all composed by famed George
Gershwin, whose "Rhapsody In Blue"
Is world-famous, la wonderful. Such
big hits as "I Got Rhythm" and "Sam
and Delilah" are featured in "Girl
Crazy."
The film tells the story of a play
boy. Eddie Qutllan, who Is sent to
supposed isolation on a ranch be
cause he Is girl crazy However, he
chisos the cows and the bulls off
the place and substitutes a bevy of
pretty girls and invites his friends.
Wheeler and Woolsey make the
most of this rich field for comedy
and soon turn this' ranch Into the
focal point for some of the funniest
comedy situations of their careers.
