he closed his men's store hore, and
were placed on sale at the club shop.
Candy, cigarettes and a dozttn pairs
of golf socks were also taken, Mr.
Huoflt-on said. He estimated the loss
at 4B.
A hole was cut In the door, and the
Yale lock opened from the Inside.

police, learned In Judge Taylor's
court today that late night car driv
ing and liquor I a costly mixture.
Another driver with liquor wa alao
punished.
Robert Force, said to be a Central
Point man, and who work In an
orchard ct Eagle Point, waa fined
850 and 64.50 cost on his plea of
guilty to possession of liquor while
driving through the valley yesterday.
Two quart of wine were found In
the car which h aaya were for hie
own uae. He claimed that a Cen
tral Point man named "Jerry" gave
him the wine.
Inasmuch a Force wa "broke."
and hla parents were dependent on
hi support, he waa given until April
10 to pay.
Like flnen were Imposed on Charle
W. Frank end Melville O. Wright,
local young men, who while returning
at high speed on the Jacksonville
highway from the Jacksonville dance
at 1 a. m., Sunday, when hailed by
Stat Policeman OBrlen, gave the
latter quite a chae, but were finally
caught In the atreets of Medford.
During their wild ride tley nearly
crashed into several cars. Three
fourths of a gallon of moonshine waa
found In the car.
Wright, who drove the car, wa
charged with liquor transportation,
and Franka charged with liquor pos
session. They aald that Franka had
only taken but one drink of the
liquor and pronounced It so bad
that Wright did not touch It. and
they hid planned to throw It away.
Both were without money and were
given until April to pay.

having hla driving license suspended
for 30 daya on his guilty plea to
reckleaa driving on the Crater Lake
highway at 1 a.m. Sunday while re

during the past week the precipita
tion at Crater Lake National park
amounts to 6.7 Inches, and that so
far this month, 8 feet and 11 Inches
of snow have fallen at the park,
while the total snowfall for the sea
eon to date la 61 feet and 9 Inches.
The present snow depths at the
park are a follows: 16 feet at the
rim. 12 feet. 4 Inchea at government
camp. 11 feet. 1 Inch at Anna Spring
camp, and 6 feet, 41 Inchea at the
south entrance.
