society of the Presbyterian church,

business of the day the meeting was
turned over to the social committee,
who served tea. The spacious living

of Eagle Point, had charge of the
program. The subject was Japan.
Mrs. Ray Wright gave an interesting
paper. Other speakers contributed to

two children of Long Beach, Calif.,
left for their home Thursday after
spending several days with the Les
ters on Biddle road. Mrs. Randrup
and Mra. Lester were girlhood friends
and had not seen each other for 30
years. Much of the time wss spent
In calling on old school mates. Mrs.
Randrup noticed lota of changes in
the valley. Mr. Randrup is connect
ed with the city police department of
