Oct. 22. (Spl.) Regular meeting of Bellvlew Orange was held Tuesday evening at the Community club house, with a large attendance. First and second de gree work was exemplified by the degree staff to a class of eight. Tableaux team made Its first ap pearance during the degree work, under the supervision of Mrs. Alice Gowland. The drill team. In full uniform, appeared In a beautiful drill. Bellvlew Grange feels proud to possess such a live bunch of Members. Judge Alex Sparrow . and B. R. Coleman were guests. Judge Sparrow explained relief work for the winter. A committee was appointed by the master to take charge of the. work. Resolutions to be presented at Pomona T3range were discussed and voted on. Pomona Grange of Jackson county is to be guest of Bellvlew Grange October 24, for an all-day meeting. Preparations are under way for the meeting, which promises to be one of the outstanding events of the season. A covered dish luncheon will be served at noon, after which a home products program will be given with a number of valley Granges participating. Heckman of this city and the former Mrs. Emma Haas, which culminated in their marriage at a three o'clock service In Predonla. Pa., Tuesday. Oc tober 13. The bride and groom ar rived In Medford on the Shasta this morning to make their home on Corning Court. Doctor and Mrs. Heckman were school mates together back In Green ville. Pa., 45 yeara ago. They were sweethearts for four years and then the romance was broken. They went different ways. Each married and reared a family. Dr. Heckman came to southern Oregon. Mrs. Haas re mained In Pennsylvania. Then death came along to rob them of their happiness. Finding his surroundings here al together too lonely. Dr. Heckman last September returned to Pennsylvania to visit his old home. He met Emma Haas again; She was lonely too. The tomance developed and continued through letters from Pennsylvania and Oregon. About a month ago Dr. Heckman returned to the eastern state to marry his boyhood sweet heart. They made the return trip to Ore gon via the southern route visiting in Chattanooga, Los Angeles and CatrJlna Islands and are as happy as when they were In their 'teens back In Greenville, Pa, they told friends, who greeted them at the station this morning. Three local boys, Jean Sutherland, 10, Tom Gillnsky, 11, and Donald Atkinson, 12, who disappeared from the Lincoln school yesterday morning are the objects of a search by rela tives and police authorities. Chil dren at the school told teachers the boys said they were going pheasant hunting. Parents of the boys searched all last night, but were unable to find any trace of their whereabouts. Tom Glllnsky's grandfather left this after noon for Roxy Ann where he thinks they might have gone on their trip.
