tions closing 243.000 acres In eastern
Coos and weBtern Douglas county to
all forms of entry and 114,000 acres
to all entry except by pormlt, were
Issued by Governor Julius L. Meier
today. The serious fire conditions in
tho areas closed caused the action
of the governor, upon recommenda
tion of Lynn F. Cronemlller, utate
forester.
Sixty thousand acres closed to all
forms of entry Is In the Eden Ridge
country south of Camas valley and
the ' remainder Is in the Tioga and
Bottom creek count: y. The ' areas
closed to entry except by permit In
cludos 6,000 acres on the headwaters
of the west fork of Crow creek, 17,
600 acres east of Powers on the south

"Stopples" are made possible by
use of a "stroboscope" with a flicker
light that flnshcs a series of Images
to the eyes, the flickers being syn
chronized with tho mechanism so
that the .moving mechanism appears

By making a gradual chaiige in 'tfie

and the position of a moving part,
slow motion of a mechanism is ob
