"Guy has been more trouble
than tho rest of my family com
bined," said Mrs. Hudson, who
was here visiting relatives. My
other three hoya are settled and
Industrious. They have helped
Guy repeatedly nnd I have helped
him. There Is nothing more that
we can do.
"If we got him out of this
trouble, It would bo only a short
tlmo until he needed help agnlrt.
He Is 37. He Is old enough to
settle down and behave himself."
Mrs. Hudson Said that while
two of Rov. Guy's brothers were
In the army during the world
war, "What-u-Man" was traveling
about the country In spectacular
style. She said she helped him
from a "125,000 nest egg I hnd
put aside for my old ago until
It had .dwindled to nothing." '
'Now I am thinking of my
other three boys," said Urs, Hudr
son. "Guy must stand on his own
feet from now on. If he has
gotten himself Into difficulties!
over his marriages, he must stand
the consequences.
"Naturally, am concerned
about It all. It worries me to see
Guy in a predicament like, this.
Hut the other boy are entitlid
to my consideration now." ,
The- mother said Guy left his
San Juan Island, Washington,
home when he was 18 and about
the only time the family heard
from him was when he-wrote or
telegraphed home for money, -' to
get out of-some scrape." The fam
