Heard to Frederick Johnson, Jr., son of Dr. and Mrs. F. H. Johnson was made known Friday evening nt a dinner party, held at the Blue. Flower lodge. The table was beautifully decor ated, the centerpiece, a bowl of sweet peas, was surrounded by miniature bride, groom and brides maids. The color scheme was car ried out In pink and white. A corsage of pnnsies was placedj for each guest. The table was set on the lawn and the colored lights In the trees made a beautiful setting for the occasion. Each guest pulled a pink and white ribbon at the end, of which was found a scroll announcing the betrothal. The bride-elect found the engagement ring at the end of her streamer. A three course dinner was served, after which the guests enjoyed a theater party at the Cra- terian. Miss Itha Heard graduated from the Medford high school with the class of '25, since that time she has been secretary for the Oregon Granite Co. Mr. Johnson graduat ed from the Ashland high school and attended Oregon State college. He is now employed as salesman for Montgomery Ward & Co. Both are well known in southern Ore gon.
