A very pretty luncheon was
given Monday afternoon by Mrs.
R. W. Sleeter, who Is planning a
series of similar events for the
summer season. The table was at
tractively arranged with blue pre
dominating. A largo bouquet f
blue delphiniums formed the cen
terpiece. The same color was re
peated In candles and place cards.
Covers were placed for sixteen
guests and luncheon followed by
bridge with four tables in play.

beautifully arranged , by sister
Alice Ilanley, to sister Sanderson
as a gift from tho club and each
past matron presented a bcaull
ful corsage. Sister Sanderson in

a few well chosen words. Under

son gave a moat complete and In
structlve report of the proceedings
of tho grand chapter and an in
spiring address. At tho close tho
conductress, sister Sadie , Kohler,
approached the east carrying a
boautlful basket filled with choice
flowers which she iproiiontod to
sister Sanderson, as a gift from
her officers.

many surprises in one evening was
equal to tho occasion. Sho thank
ed her officers and tho chapter
for these loving remembrances nnd
closed her remarks by reciting a
beautiful poem which was apprec
iated by the members and visitors.
At the close of tho chapter a
highly anticipated event of tho
evening was the blrthdny party
given by tho worthy matron and
hor officers In honor of members
having ft blrthdny any time during
tho period from January to July.
The blrthdny table was beautiful
with lighted tapers and angel food
