June 7 In the chapel at the Naval
academy, their wedding- being an
important event in Annapolis and
Baltimore society. Mrs. Gale was

Baltimore debutante. They

by Mr. Gale's mother, Mrs. Floyd

Miss Roxane Ruhl, daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. Robert V. Ruhl, who
has been a student at Vussar for
the past year, sailed from New
York Saturday for England, with
a group of classmates.
The party will enjoy a bicycle
trip through England and return
to the states In late summer. Miss
Ruhl will arrive In Medford the
middle of August to spend the re
malnder of the summer with her
parents.

At a lovely wedding ceremony
In the First Methodist Episcopal
church. Miss Mildred Ward of
Phoenix became the bride of Mr.
Arthur L. Osberg of eatue,
Wash., last Thursday afternoon
at four o'clock. Rev. A. Q. Bennett
officiating. Only the immediate
relatives of the bride and groom
were in attendance.
The church Was beautifully
decorated for the occasion, with
flowers about the altar. The bKdo
wore a lovely gown of ivory sat
in, reaching to the floor, with a
veil of tulle, held In place by
a cap of pearls and blossoms. She
carried a shower bouquet of ivory
tinted roses and lillles of the val
ley. Mrs. Russell Wheeler ot
Medford, niece of the bride, as
matron of honor, wore soft peach
crepe with a corsage bouquet of
yellow rosebuds.
The maid of honor. Miss Mai
garet Smith of Salem, and a so
roroity sister of the bride, wore
pink Bilk net over satin with a
corsage bouquet of deep pink
rosebuds.
