who had returned from a stay
with her son at Pendleton only a
week or so before, had been in ill
health since her return.

bullet into his heart. The tragedy

district, one-half mile from a ser
vice station he had hcim construct
ing on t he Jacksonville highway.
A note written by Mr. Shores to
his sons explained his action.
Funeral services will be held at
2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at
the Conger Funeral Parlors with
Kev. C. H. Porter officiating.
He leaves to mourn his loss,
three sons, Orval of Central Point,
Claire of Medford, and l!la mford
