sign Paris models.
Models come from those who make
nothing else. Where is model coffee
apt to come from? From those who
make only model coffee, or from'
those who try to make both cheap
coffee and good coffee, at the same
time, in the same place, with the same
hands. Schilling is the only coffee
roaster in America who makes only
model coffee. The only one. The ,
blending and roasting of fine coffee
is one of the most del
icate series of opera
tions in modern in
dustry. In a thing so delicate, cheap
ness is contagious. For that difference
between model coffee and other good
coffeestry Schilling's just once.

A hotel item In the Mall Tribune
this week brought together two
old time residents of Dec. raff, O., 1
who had not seen each other for
15 or 2d years. Frank Kodgers,
city building inspector, was read

when he came onto the name of
Yelma Vance, registered at a local
hotel.
Inquiry revealed that the young
woman was the same person he
used to know in Ohio as a small
girl. She did not know Mr. Rodg

equally pleased to meet the local
man as he was glad to learn of
news from the old home town.
3 things to stop a cold
"Pope's" does them all ! '
Now, just a pleasant tablet and relief
for your cold begins, instantly. And
Pape's Cold Compound relieves all
symptoms of colds. It does the
thrct things any doctor will tell you
are necessary to check a cold.
"Pape's" reduces irritation and
swelling of the nasal lining. So
breathing becomes easy; discharge
stops; the head clears. "Pape's"
encourages perspiration; banishes
that achy, feverish, weak feeling
which is due to inactivity of the pores.
"Pape's" kills cold germs; opens
the bowels; takes germs and the
acid-wastes of colds right out of
your system.
Next time a cold starts, try Pape's
Cold Compound and learn the reason
for its tremendous sales and popu
larity. Just remember the name,
"Pape's". All drugstores 35c.

No longer is it the unusual food buyer who
pays cash! The modern housewife knows it
is the CHIC and CLEVER thing to do if
one wishes to keep with the times. The
homemaker of today feels it her responsi

family happiest and most prosperous. That's
why she makes our stores her food center
