the city planning commission to
Investigate and make some recom

that that body had received com

the septic tank, at times, and say

This - recommendation, which
Mayor Wilson and city council

Ineidentnl to the new schools
building program tho council last
night also received a lwclhy com
munication from the city planning
commission asking that the city
make necessary street and alley
changes in the vicinity of the new
educational buildings, especially in
the high school vicinity. The plan
ning commission submitted two
schemes for making such changes,
which It Is understood also have
the sanction of the school hoard.
Inasmuch as both schemes are so :
involved or Intricate, Mayor Wil
son and the counctlmen thought
they should be carefully studied
by the committee on streets and
roads before the council took any
action. ,
Jast night's wns the first format

the only absentee was 1 M. Kor

much business was transacted in

of new sewer ordinances nnd ones
for other improvements, besides
passing legislation levying assess

Cilcnn o. Taylor as Judge of the

Unanimously confirmed by the
council, but' tho mayor announced
