expectation of a favorable U. S.
Steel tounagc report at the close,
an expectation which was not dis
appointed. Trading was light, the
transactions aggregating 800,000
shares.

der Albert memorial chapel in a
ceremony containing jiiHt a touch
of the glitter she had hated bo
much while alive.
Among those present to do last
honor to the departed daughter of
the late King Kdward and Queen
Alexander was n company of the
Military Knights of Windsor in
their brilliant scarlet nnd gold uni
forms. The pallbearers were mem
bers of the forty-seventh dragoon
guards, of which the princess royal
was colonel in chief.
