of Miss Sally Hazlett. daughter of
Mr- and Mrs. William Hazlett of
L'onnociicut and Ualph D. Fair
child, of this city, son of Mr. and
Mm. V. D. Fairchild, which was
an event of Christmas evening in
the Pioneer church. Methodist, in
Portland.
The wedding service was read at
7 o'clock by Rev. J. V. Warrell.
Tho Itride was charming in a gown
of eggshell moire and wore n veil
of tulle, crowned with a head
dress of pearls and orange blos
soms and carried a bouquet of
calla llllies.
llor maid of honor. Miss Mabel
Warrell of Dallas, Ore., was at
tired in orchid taffeta and canied
ophelia roses.
Tho groom's attendant was his
brother, Lloyd Fairchild of Port
land. Following a short stay In the
nor l hern city Mr, and Mrs. Fair
child returned to Medford, where
they will make their home. Mr.
Fairchild Is associated with the
Standard Oil company of Callj
fornia In the southern Oregon
northern California branch office,
opened during the past year in the
Liberty building.
Mr. and Mrs. Fairchild are tem
porarily located at 117 Laurel
street.
