FOR SANTA GLAUS
AT L!0N MEETING
Santa Claiis In all , his glory
called upon members of the Lions
club today noon at tho regular
luncheon nt tho HotelHolland.
And ' the Christmas carols and
other songs he sang convinced the
group that he was : none other
than George Olstn, well known
local entertainer.
Little Joan Burke, daughter of
Mr. und. Mrs., J. J. . Uurke also
entertained the audience with two
readings, which were much en
Joyed. Upon being quizzed by the West
ern Union manager. Don Collier,
regarding his mail, Santa read sev
eral letters from members of the
club. He apologized for being
thin, due to tho hard winter and
proceeded to unload his uack.
The tables were attractively
decorated in Christmas greens and
candles for tho annual Christmas
party and a brilliantly lighted tree
In the corner of the dining room
completed the holiday atmosphere.
A roar and a wish for a "very
merry Christmas" were voiced for
the Reynolds, managers or the
hotel, for the wplendld arrange
ments made for the luncheon.
