P. Ames, and Mr. Wm. Henry Fluhrer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John F. Fluhrer, which was solemnized at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon in tho St. Mark's church. Episcopal, Father Wm. B, Hamilton reading the service. Invitations were Issued to 200 guests and the church elaborately decorated In white chrysanthe mums and green ivy for the oc casion. The bride was charming, attired in a. gown of cream colored satin finished with a long train which formed a graceful line beneath her veil, 'created from an old French shawl worn by her grandmother, Mrs. E. A. Perry. She carried a shower bouquet of gardenias and lilies of tho valley-Mrs. Bruce H. Bauer, her matron of , honor, wore a formal after noon gown of shell pink crepe. Tho maid of honor, Miss Constance Ames, was attired In a slmllur gown of orchid crepe and the bridesmaids, Miss Kleunor -Ames and Miss Louise Fluhrer, wore gowns of peach and turquoise blue all wore silver turbans to blend with their gowns and carried boa quels of salmon pink rosebuds. Mr. Herbert Strang was the groom's attendant and Dr. Bert Lageson and Mr. Thomas Swem, ushers. For half an hour preceding the ceremony soft music was played on the organ by Mrs. H. O. Purucker, who continued with Mendelssohn's wedding march for the procession a I.- She ployed- very softly through the ceremony Schubert's Ave Ma ria and the grand march from Tunnhauser for the recessional. Out of town' guests for the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. Bert Franz and son Joseph, of Portland. Following the wedding, dinner was served at tho Ames homo for members - of the two families. Guests .being Mr. and Mrs. John F, Fluhrer, Mr. and Mrs. Bruco Bauer and little dauglitor Jacqueline, Miss Louise Fluhrer, Mrs. 13. A. Perry, Mrs. L. P.
