12 days. Horn in Santa Clara coun
ty California, July 114, 1869, nnd
moved to the Roguo Hlver valley
at the age of eight years. She was
married to George H. Itoss at the
old Hoss ranch January 7, 1HKH.
To this union were born eight chil
dren, seven sons nnd one daughter.
Sho is survived by fivo children,
Mrs. H. L. Bowman, Central Point.
Oregon, Frank E. Hoss, Jerome,
Arizona, Raymond Hoss, Klamath
Falls, Oregon, Donald Hoss of
Moil ford and Russell Hoss of Cen
tral Point, Oregon; four grand
children, two sisters nnd one
brother. Mrs. Sadie Ha Id win nnd
Mrs. Rose Stevens of Santa Cruz,
California, and Frank MoCarvot of
Rogue River, Oregon. Mrs. Hoss
was a woman of sterling character,
a wonderful wife and mother and
a true friend who will he mourned
by a host of friends besides her
relatives, she was a member of the
Security Benefit association of
