Exer cises were not considered harmful if not too strenuous, and rather a benefit in gaining good posture. 1 The diet is important, also plenty of sleep. Over-excitement is apt to be harmful. The adolescent goitre was explained as an enlarge ' ment of the thyroid gland very common at this age in some local ities. It should not cause alarm but a doctor should be consulted as to its, treatment. The supply of sewing Is about completed and new articles wilt be commenced at the next meeting.
