ed it to the police department ot'
the Sacramento hospital, where

mined. A note was left in the car
with him. It. read: "Please keep
him. 1 cannot. God bless you."
Mrs. Swinson had left her tar
parked for a few minutes on a busi
ness slree when she returned and
found the baby in a Boiled blanket
deposited in the seat. An investi
gation is . being carired on by the
police department to determine his
identity.- So far he is known us
"Baby John Doe."
The Swlnsons are well known in
Medford, where they frequently
visit. Mr. Swinson :was formerly a
member of the Mail Tribune staff.
